Valeria Corso
is an Italian Pop/R&B/Funk singer songwriter, arranger, producer, composer, and sound engineer of 22 years old. She grew up in a music-loving family of Sicily. Since she was a child, she strummed the piano with her dad improvising Jazz music 4 hands. At 6 she began studying classical piano, which was accompanied by a passion for singing, that gradually has taken over to become the main object of her studies. At 13, she started her Jazz vocal lessons in the best schools of Palermo: Brass Group, Palermo Jazz, Kandinsky, with teachers of a certain thickness: Lucy Garcia, Flora Faja, Rita Collura, Monica Giannone, Anita Vitale and Florinda Piticchio, who have contributed greatly to her training to date.

She spent the summer of 2013 in a college in Cambridge, England, to improve her English and to experience a different music environment. In September 2013 she won a scholarship called “High School Program”, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Education, which aims to improve language skills. This led her, in January 2014, to the United States where she attended the senior year at the Orono High School, earning a 4 year Diploma. In 2015 she started her first year at Berklee College of Music, achieving a GPA of 3.98 up to date. She declared Contemporary Writing & Production and Performance as her dual major. She also made it through the Dean’s List all semesters. In Spring 2018 she won the Contemporary Writing & Production Academic Merit Award for her outstanding achievement in the department. In Fall 2018 she graduated from Berklee earning a Bachelor Degree in Contemporary Writing & Production Summa Cum Laude.

Her first Electronic Pop EP will be released in Summer 2019.
She’s currently working as sound engineer at Pulse Music NY.
